Mary Beth Miyagawa grew up in the Baltimore area and knew from a young age she wanted to work in the veterinary field. She earned an AAS in Veterinary Nursing from Purdue University, a BS in Animal Science from the University of Connecticut, and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. She also holds a graduate certificate in Veterinary Forensics from the University of Florida and is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Maryland.
As Practice Manager at Hoffman Animal Hospital, Mary Beth oversees daily operations, including team management, training, and scheduling. Her unique blend of veterinary expertise and business insight allows her to maintain the highest standards of patient care, while also fostering a supportive and motivated team.
Outside of work, Mary Beth has three cats – Duncan, Murphy, and Polly – and two dogs, Giovanni and Vesper. She enjoys gardening, watching sports, reading, and traveling to foreign countries and National Parks. Her experiences include cage diving with great white sharks and interning at a zoo, where she particularly enjoyed working with river otters.
