Carrie Muller, DABVP

A native of the Eastern Shore, Dr. Muller received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland. She went on to serve as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy before pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences.

She completed internships in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, as well as Clinical Research at North Carolina State University. She then joined Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, NJ in 2017 as an Emergency Staff Doctor and later became the Medical Director. In June 2021, she joined DCES as the Medical Director and Emergency Staff Doctor. In June of 2023, Dr. Muller was welcomed as Medical Director at Hoffman Animal Hospital.

With a Fear Free Certification, Dr. Muller prioritizes creating a stress-free experience for her patients and is passionate about pain management.  Her collaborative approach with pet owners ensures they feel involved in their pets’ care and decision-making process. She is also RECOVER veterinary CPR Certified in Basic Life Support & Advanced Life Support and is currently pursuing an MBA through The Pennsylvania State University.

In December 2024, Dr. Muller achieved the prestigious designation of Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, earning certification in Canine and Feline Practice—a rare and significant accomplishment that requires rigorous testing and exceptional expertise.

Outside of work, Dr. Muller enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, three children, a Belgian Malinois named Lilo, and a German Shepherd named Katie.
